When you mail a complete description of your complaint, be sure to include all supporting documentation. Someone from the complaint unit will contact you when your complaint is received.

The Office of the Attorney General does not handle most problems with collection agencies. However, they can help if a consumer is having difficulties with a creditor who is collecting debts.
