2012 Annual Meeting

The Maryland Consumer Rights Coalition's 2012 Annual Meeting and Awards Ceremony will be Thurs. Oct. 18 from 7 pm to 9 pm at the Ten Oaks Ballroom at 5000 Signal Bell Lane in Clarksville, MD. Over the last decade, MCRC's annual meeting has grown into Maryland's largest annual celebration of consumer rights. This year, we are proud to give awards to four of Maryland's most important champions of consumer rights

Anne Balcer Norton -- Maryland's Deputy Commissioner of Financial Regulation -- Consumer Advocate of the Year
Del. Craig Zucker -- 14th District, House of Delegates -- Legislative Achievement of the Year
John Relman -- Consumer rights attorney who led mortgage discrimination suits against Wells Fargo -- Legal Champion of the Year
WTOP Radio's "Call-For-Action" Consumer Volunteer Team -- Consumer Volunteers of the Year

Heavy appetizers and desserts from the award-winning "Puttin' on the Ritz" caterers will be served along with complimentary wine and beer and other beverages.

Sponsorship Opportunities Available

Your organization can be an important partner in MCRC's annual meeting as a sponsor or supporter. Sponsors will get tickets to the event as well as special recognition in our program and publicity and at the event itself as they provide critical support for MCRC's work to protect and defend consumers.

You can sponsor the event at any these of four levels:

Platinum level -- $5,000 (entitles you to 15 tickets and special recognition in our program and press materials).
Gold level -- $2,500 (entitles you to 10 tickets and special recognition in our program and press materials).
Silver level -- $1,000 (entitles you to 6 tickets and special recognition in our program and at the event).
Bronze level -- $500 (entitles you 4 tickets and special recognition in our program and at the event).
